You know, being a Canadian is a unique experience;
“eh”, “poutine”, “Canadian beer”, “Tims/timbits”, “Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)”, “Canadian kindness”, “universal healthcare”, “sorry – not sorry”, “snow/winter” and many more 🙂
The most important one, however, is that you may be bothered with heat and sun.
That is right! 🙂
Yesterday was 22 C and I walked to a shopping mall at noon. I believe I have had sun stroke and had to take a long cool shower to cool my body and reduce my heart rate. The same thing today – it was 27 C, sunny, and hot, and here I am trying to cool my body..
Boy, no hesitation here.
I am Canadian and I am loving it.

I wish it were only 27 C. I know for you that is balmy! Today it was a “cool” 38 C. We are cooling the house to a nice cool temp of 26 C. It’s all about perspective, isn’t it??

OMG!! once upon time 35-38 C was my normal too! it is amazing how the human body adapts to its environment. I hope it is not too humid there – 38C and humidity together could be quite sticky 🙂

The humidity isn’t bad. It is currently 29% which is humid for us!

we’ve had a long run of heat and humidity – pretty steady daytimes highs 35 (95F) and 60-70% humidity. not cooling off much at night either. Today only made it to 87, but humidity so high, it felt like breathing water! Next week is back into mid to upper 90s – might hit 100. thank goodness for air conditioning for the people and shade for stock.
